Re: Questions to all of you...
The napkins will pass! YEAHHHH! It's good to hear that I don't have be
INSPECTING the RESIDUE anymore than what I already am!

Kibble - Wellness Chicken, 3 cups a day usually mixed with warm water. Raw
bones about 3 times a week max, as a supplemental treat. His other treats
consist of raw veggies & fruit, Iams bones, and Pupperoni (that's his
training treat). Monza has no problem getting all of the marrow out of these
rather large bones, although he makes the most obscene sucking sound to get
it. According to Dad, the Wellness is peppery, but Ilene thinks it's bland.
YEP! She sampled it after I peaked her interest. Monza still relishes the
flavor and his poops aren't harder than rocks or looser than a goose. It's
expensive compared to other kibbles, but it lasts a while and is much less
compared to my per meal costs.
I'm also cleaning his ears (epi-otic) and brushing his teeth (CET mint
paste) with no problems.
Monza is incredibly strong with sculptured muscles in his legs, hips, and
shoulders. Yes, I'm jealous of his definition. His strength surprises
everyone that takes him for walk. He is a MONSTER when it comes to chasing
leaves. Even I have to hands on the lead and I'm off to buy a new braided
one (they were out when I got this one). He's popped one rivet and another
is looking a little weak.
>you have all survived and your puppies are all potty trained right!
Right! Monza goes to the door if he needs to go out. If I'm not watching
he finds me and just stares at me until I say, "do you have to go OUTSIDE?"
He then takes off to the door, if that was his intention. He also barks and
hunts me down in the house if someone comes to the door that he doesn't
know. He's a quiet critter - only barking if another dog enters the yard or
a stranger arrives at the door.

Puppy kindergarten completed with flying colors in July. I'm playing phone
tag as I write with an obedience trainer. We're going into another course
as soon as possible.
Monza's still in crating it, but I'm sure getting a hard time with friends
and family about it. They're making me think that I'm a bad mommy. On the
other hand, it's my house, my life and my hellion puppy. (Can you tell that
I've practiced that line?!) I'm saving my stuff from destruction & Monza
from harm - plus, he has the added benefit of knowing that's HIS area where
I don't tread. I plan on always having the big wire kennel around the
house. It's been in the dining room/living room/kitchen area since a week
after I got him, because I needed my space at night and he was going to
learn his without any dependency. Monza has only whined once in the crate
and that was the night I picked him up from Ilene. He shut up right away
after a scolding and he's been great ever since. If you're pulling the
picture together, yes - he's a rather self-assured, dominate, independent
furry devil.
