Hi! My name is Riley.
Sorry its taken me so long to check
in with everyone! My family keeps me busy and we are not home very often,
not to mention my mom is computer phobic. I was the smallest girl in
Scarlettes litter (but now I weigh 41 pounds) and I had on a purple
collar.(Purple is still my favorite color!!)
I have been having a really fun
summer, we have gone lots of cool places and I have learned lots of new
things.
The day after I came home from Gina's
we went to my Grandma & Grandpa's house in Sequim Washington. Lucky
for me they love their granddogger - they live in the woods & I had so much
fun! It was a long trip back & forth from Hood River but I
found that I like to ride in the car! It's a good thing too because I
spend lots of time in the car going places. I get to go to work with my
dad at least two or three times a week! He works up at Timberline on Mt.
Hood. I like it there because I get to hike and play in the snow! We
go on lots of road trips, sometimes to go windsurfing, sometimes to go
camping, and sometimes to visit my friend Cleo in Bend!
I learned how to swim and retrieve
when I was 10 weeks old! It's nice to live by a big river when its hot
outside. I don't like being a hot dog - so swimming is my favorite thing
to do. My second most favorite thing to do is sock hunting. The
stinkier the better! I like my dad's socks the
best!
I also learned how to sit, lay down,
come when I'm called,shake hands, and roll over. I know how to stay too --
but I don't like to unless there's a treat involved. My mom says I'm
stubborn just like her. Someday soon I get to go to school. I
think it will be fun because I love making new friends!
My kitty Fender also taught me how to
purr. If you scratch behind my ears or rub my tummy I'll purr for
you. Sometimes I smile to -- it makes my mom & dad laugh.
It's hard to believe we're all most 6
months old already! Time passes so quickly! My dad is ready for me
to have a sister, but my mom says maybe we should wait until I'm at least one
and we enlarge the backyard! I wouldn't mind, I'd love someone to play
with!
Guess that's about it for now!
