Haiku

Hi All,
A friend of ours sent us the following Haiku. Being inspired, I
wrote two more, one for Torrey and one for Maple.

Renee

Dog Haiku

I love my master;
Thus I perfume myself with
Long-rotten squirrel.

Look in my eyes and
Deny it. No human could
Love you as I do.

The cat is not all
Bad-she fills the litter box
With those Tootsie Rolls.

Torrey Haiku

I love my master
Thus I will imprint him with
my muddy paws

I clean her glasses with
my long pink tongue.
Scratch me here, oh yes.

Forget the other one
She is not worthy of your love
For I have suffered so.

Maple Haiku

When will they feed me?
I look lovingly in their eyes
I make cute noises

Wait! What does he have?
I want it for it looks good
Get up and play with me!

Oh Masters, I am the cute one
see how I lick your hand
I am learning not to chew.
