Haus needs your thoughts

Hi All,

We have had a freak accident involving Haus.  Yesterday evening he was 
playing with his bud's in the small back yard attached to the 
house.  Apparently he must have gotten smacked just right.  He has probable 
head/neck spinal injury.  He does have some function returning this AM 
after megga doses of steroids last night at ER.  He is at the vet for 
observation and or tests.  Time right now is both or friend and our 
foe.  With spinal trauma the vets tell us that Haus needs time.  He may 
just snap back or we may loose him.  At this point we don't know anything 
other than he is NOT in pain which is again a double bladed sword.  The 
plan of the day is for the vet to observe him and run what tests they feel 
might be appropriate, IE: x-rays blood work.  But they stress that time may 
just be what he needs.  His spirts are better than good and we are trying 
to be strong and as rational as we can be for him.

George has also had a trauma of his own and is off to the Dr's as I 
type.  He apparently got a foreign body in his eye yesterday and this 
morning the eye is red and sore but not real painful.  So while your 
thinking of Haus think of me to! <LOL>  After all I am the one with 
physical trauma to preoccupy myself with.
