RE: Introducing: The Amazing Hogan S. Bennison

Cute - he even spells well! Michele got a new puppy, her name is Chevy and
Mulligan and Hogan will have a ball playing with her. The greyhounds were
not too receptive to her advances but I know that Mully and Hogan will join
in the games.

One more day! Are you sleeping at night??

Subject: Introducing: The Amazing Hogan S. Bennison

Dear Brier Pups and Parents:

My mom has left for the store, so I have just a few minutes to introduce
myself! My name is HOGAN. I am one of the Moon Babies- and ohhhh I
miss my siblings soooo much! I came to my parents Torrey Bailey and TJ
Bennison in June ( I was the last to leave the nest). My Mom is a
teacher and she couldn't come to get me until school was out. I live
with them and my big "sister" Mulligan in Portland. I have this really
cool big yard, my own outdoor kennel, tons of toys and every so often
they let me sleep in their big bed!!!!!

I have really enjoyed hearing about all of you out there, and do hope
that we will be able to do a reunion some day soon! I found my Mom's
digital camera and Mulligan and I have been playing around with it, we
are trying to create our own web page! I will keep you posted, as my
Mom will be going back to work soon, and Dad will have his office
upstairs. This will give Mulligan and me some canine creativity!

I suppose I should give you all a little background about me and my
sister. I WAS going to be called Scout- but you see, Mom got to name
Mulligan (as in golf-it means to take another shot-kind of like Mom's
game). Anyway, Dad decided that he was going to get to name me. And so
I became Hogan (as in the great golfer Ben Hogan). They did end up
keeping Scout as my middle name. Although I only answer to Hogan or
Hogie, and even then it's tentative, unless there are cookies involved.
I love cookies, any kind, any flavor, any color- in fact I am just one
big fat snacker. Anyway, my sister, Mulligan is from Judy (Gina's good
friend and also a breeder: Timberline Goldens). She is my bestest
friend- we play all day long! She is bigger than me now, but I know
that someday I will be bigger than her. My parents are constantly
comparing our paws, mine are bigger!

I hope that we can all keep in touch! I think my Mom is home, I gotta
go! Have a Golden Day- we always do!!!!!

Love, Hogan
