But, Lyn was a life saver all weekend. We camped, and didn't count on
three days of cold and rain. She was there from the minute we arrived!
She brought Hot Chocolate, treats, towels (THANK YOU!) and provided us
with directions, tours and help beyond what we expected or deserved. She
got STUCK holding dogs outside the ring two days in a row, and I know
why she wasn't there the third day, she was probably fed up and sore!!!
Thanks Lynn, they weren't even my dogs, but I would have been the one
that got stuck holding them. Poor Lynn got to hold all the males, and I
was holding all the girls in heat. Does anyone get the idea yet??? I bet
Monza's antics look pretty good to her now!! That was hard work.
Now from the sounds of their squawking, she did REALLY GOOD! I

Yes, I already wrote how thrilled we were for Dawns win! It was a biggy!
By the way, we had a terrible thunderstorm with torrential rains last
night.

Wow!! We had a Oregon drizzle all weekend, but these storms threatened
to blow us to OZ! I woke up at one point and the tent roof was caving in
with water. This was at 4:00 am, so I pushed it off and tried to go back
to sleep. Then the wind started. It got scary. Gina will share her
thoughts when she gets the video of our campsite. We had tarps and
plastic bungeed everywhere! The first night the lake sounded like the
ocean rolling in with a light drizzle tapping on the tent. This was
nowhere like that. Couldn't even hear the lake over the wind.
They were suppose to

And we HAD to leave before this walk, or we would have had to stick
around another day. The bridge traffic is sometimes six to seven hours
long.

Yes, Rocket had his first experience at a show. He did great!! But, what
the heck is an Ex-pen?? Something to climb out of??? I guess so. It was
no barrier to him what-so-ever. But, at least he ran to me! I had two
dogs out in a grassy area 100 yards or so away from the campsite. So, I
was kinda in a fit as to how to get him back without a lead on him.
There was a road nearby, but they had saw him leave so help was after
him!
Again, Thank you Lyn for all your help. Everybody thought you were
WONDERFUL!! We plan on coming every year now that we have you to help!!
(Not Kidding, it is sooooo beautiful up there)
