Hi everyone.....

Between throws of Duckie, I'll try to type something.

YES!  It is countdown time to the Marquette Kennel Club show!  It got down
to the low 40's last night - wait! maybe even lower because Monza and I have
been up for 2 hours and it's only 48 degrees right now.  Not cold enough to
stop me from running out with Monza in my nightshirt, though.  Now for
Ilene, the Troll, I give advance warning to pack your snuggies!  There might
be a few three dog nights! Oh - the definition of troll:  one who lives
south of the 5 mile suspension bridge that links concrete city to God's
Country.

I can't wait to learn how to clean up his furball feet!  Ilene, you get to
put your hands on his precious little ears!  They are STILL absolutely
adorable.....making quite a picture when he smiles & shows off his new
assortment of pearly whites.  His tail is still cracking us up.  It hasn't
outgrown the bad hair day look, but he carries it like a King.

Monza's favorite thing to do in the world (besides eating) is riding.  This
past week a few friends have stopped by and each and every time he jumped in
their cars waiting for a ride.  He learned how to stand on the accelerator
pedal and make a golf car go in the past couple of weeks, of course I wasn't
pleased with my father about that trick!  This past Thursday, he finally got
the hang of catch and has stopped letting the ball bounce off his nose.

Gina - I finished the stick thing and tried it out yesterday on Monza.  I'm
sending one along to you.  These are much more HEAVY duty than my trainers.

I'm starting to squirrel around here, that is prepare for fall and the close
to follow snow.  I'm off to the hardware store this morning for some deck
sealant.  I waited all summer for 3 nice, dry days to no avail, and now I
can't wait any longer.  So, time to get ready and take Monza for ANOTHER
ride.
