Hunter's Latest Trip

Well, we took a very good trip today, no problems just lots and lots of fun, fun, fun.  We went to Tillamook Bay at the Oregon coast and went crabbing.  (Yes Gina, we went early, but plan on going next weekend for our feast on the holiday.)  Not the best time of year, but we got 16 and had a great time.  Hunter's first time in the boat.  A little nervous, but we went slow at first, it took him about 15 minutes and he was having a ball, oh, look at that bird!! Can I catch it?... oh wow, look at that water can I lick it??... oh feel the wind on my face, which side of the boat is best?? I can't decide... Oh well I will just stand right on the front with my feet on the edge... Oh yeah yeah the mist is on my face let me grab it with my teeth.. chomp chomp  oh yuck this water is terrible, where is my water bowl, lick lick that's much better.  It was low tide so we went on the beach that is not usually there.  WOW!!! sea shells sand, neither taste very good... Oh there are more birds let me get one... run run... oh lets roll in the sand.  Man this is so great, but I am pooped!!  2 hour nap in the boat with Krista and started all over again!!!

Needless to say we had a great day. The weather was perfect.  I have never been on Tillamook bay with a t-shirt and shorts getting wet and not being cold.  It is usually nasty, cold and nothing short of several garbage bags wrapped around you will do.  One thing that surprised me, is that on the beach while Hunter was playing, the kids and I were walking in the water, they had on their life vests of course, well here comes Hunter, tearing down the beach stops, looks at me then looks at the kids and proceeds to go out deeper in the water past them and herded them back out of the water!!!! I am not exaggerating!!  Then Krista went directly back into the water and he grabbed a hold of her shirt and dragged her back out of the water.  (I got a picture of this because I knew it would be hard to believe).  Then he turned around to me and barked like "are you going to help me or what??"  It was great!! He is such a smart dog!!

Way to tired to eat crab tonight, to much work, its pig fest tomorrow, So, what Hunter is wondering, is if he can have some too?  Anyone have an answer to that??
