Gina,
We will be sure to get you a copy of the catalogue and some of the prints.  You will have to be patient, because we will not get anything till the fall.  That is what Orvis told me.  How are Rocky and SeaJay?  I hope they are doing better!  Please give the rest of the gang a scratch for me.
Take Care,
Brad

Brad,

From experience don't hold your breath on getting prints or even notice of when the ad's will beak.  This is why I was wondering if you had the addy for the company so I could subscribe to the catalog.

Additional Brier stars:  Gambler and Peaches did an ad for Union Bay Mens wear in San Diego just before we moved up here.  I actually do have copy of that one but had to do my own search through magazine racks to get it.  China Scarlette's mother did several ads.  I will scan these in when I find some time and share.  Meg and SeaJay both have covers on the GRCA News...  Sept October 98 and 99 respectively.  WE also should have a cover coming up in the near future of a Timberline/Brier baby. :-)

Here are a few lines of melancholy for you all:  Gambler who would be Bogey's, Jester's, Cayenne and Ruby Rose's great great uncle through Sprite being his great niece and Kaycee his niece. Gambler was the best dog that ever walked the face of the earth.  He never once had an accident in my house as a puppy.  Not one, I took three weeks off of work when he came home to settle him in.  He was also a surprise gift from his breeder.  He and Kaycee were the first GR's George ever met, heaven help him now...  Gambler, aka Goober, Freight Train was one of the first TDI dogs to be certified by Paula Cingota who is the author of the Rottweiler books called Carl.  We knew Carl.  We loved Carl.  There was a special on Paula on Animal Planet not too long ago, she's still doing TDI work Oh TDI:  Therapy Dog's International.  He actually was certified in error before he was a year of age but by the time the error was caught he was over a year so they let him slide. Back then the requirements were actually stricter than they are now.  The test was harder and you had to do apprentice work before you were certified.  Not that it's easy now to certify but the program has changed. He was perfect at everything.  There was nothing he couldn't learn.  If life had been diffrent then and I knew what I know now he would have been a multi titled dog in performance.  He was show bred but lacking in structure but still a very striking dog.  Gidget:  Brier's Know When Ta Hold'em CGC TDI was born on Gamblers 12th birthday 21 days after that he passed away.  Hence her name is from the Kenny Rogers album: The Gambler...

I will save Peaches story for another time.

Night All,

Gina
