weather woes and scary monsters

Title: weather woes and scary monsters
From: Linda Shipman <Linda.Shipman@chezor.alaska.com>

Typical Juneau weather here :-)  15mph winds and drenching rain....

We got some of your rain tonight, wow... was it pouring down and I was thinking yuck, there goes my hips, lol.  I was thinking of you down there cause you always always get the wind and the nasty rains.

I was so proud of myself because I decided to use the rain to introduce Boomer to an umbrella, lol! Now that was an interesting meeting, lol. I always do this now as I will never forget the idiot spectator at the Palmer dog shows in 1997 who opened her umbrella right in the middle of all of our puppies getting ready to enter the ring. She was oblivious to the havoc and upset she was causing and kept waving the damn thing around while gabbing to her neighbors. I wanted to strangle her and then wanted to strangle myself for not teaching Sophie about umbrellas! lol! By the time I finished tonight Boomer was dragging it around by his teeth.

On the way in the door he decided to have the spookies about his outside blanket that was hanging on the fence to drip dry out...

!!@@!! Oh my!! Mom! it's SCARY AND GOING TO GET ME!!! Bark Bark and run away! So, we got another chance to see scary stuff that was not scary when it was on the ground in it's proper place not 3 hours ago.

I'd forgotten about the scary monster weeks, lol. Lord only knows what it will be tomorrow.
