Major Barf Score

This so seldom happens to me I have to tell about my major score this 
morning!! LOL!

Went to pick up two cases of turkey necks I'd ordered and Steve the butcher
is chatting with me and says he's got a whole lamb that wasn't frozen
quickly enough to meet USDA standards and is already cryo-vac'd but  he's
unable to sell it to the resturants and did I want it? I asked him how much
and he says it's free.

After I gathered myself from the floor I said heck yes, and I'm grateful as
all heck too. So, out there in my car trunk are now enough RMB's to last me
well into August I think! Holy cow! I'm waiting until Mark gets up before I
try to manhandle them all to the outside freezer, lol. There are SOME
advantages to having a strapping son home from college for the summer. It's
been hard to find them if you balance that out against the sheer amount of
clutter the kid leaves around! lol!

Speaking of Barf, I did want to ask you guys if you've begun switching your
pups onto the BARF diet? If so, what are you feeding and how is it going? I
haven't begun to move Boomer over to BARF yet but am just about ready to now
that he's settling in so well and perking right along.
