Thanks for the stories about Acer and Torrey.  That's what we find
with our girls too.  Totally different reactions to the same situation.

My favorite story about Iris was the time we did her nails while we
were in front of the TV watching a video.  I had her lying between my
legs with her head in my lap while I massaged her arms and chest.
She was in 7th heaven, until she heard the whir of the dremel in Perry's
hands.  Then she started moving around, but we could still work with her.
The funny part though is that while she thought we were watching the
video, she retrieved the dremel (good girl, Iris) and hid it in one of
the back rooms (bad girl, Iris ;-)  Too smart for her own good <lol>

One thing that makes this easier is that we have a grooming table
that we put them up on when we do nails.  It has a standing arm with
a noose that their head goes through.  At least they tend to stay in
one place!
