Lyn and the KC
So Lyn,
Please tell us all:
How was your first Kennel Club meeting? Did you get elected to the Board
of Directors yet? Hey be careful volunteering for too much inside 6 months
you could find your self on the slate of officers for the next term. Right
Perry?
Seriously though I think if you (any one) finds the sport of dogs
interesting becoming a member of a KC is a good idea. Here we have several
All Breed Clubs and I am considering joining one myself as our Golden Club
offers nothing beyond a Specialty show each January which we have always
participated in, ie being on the show committee and lending our expertise
where we can. It's fun to watch these things come together. For this past
Specialty I did the trophies. Don't remember Linda (forgive me) but didn't
Angel take one home?
Update on Rocky is he is doing really well. Still on antibiotics, we have
not done any more vet stuff with him this week, thank goodness. He is
ready for some better weather as are all of us out here in Oregone (for
IIene) Oregon for the rest of the world... Were going to get it too it's
looking like. Today was 1/2 and 1/2 with the sun just setting now and it's
still warm. Hopefully we can get Rocky out to the ponds this week end and
let him splash around. He loves to swim and if he can handle it were going
to let him. :-) Just have to monitor his breathing I guess.
Update on SeaJay: Were doing bandage changes daily at the vet and today
the vet who usually would do this kind of surgery got to look at him and
she says things look good. I left him out of his crate while I went out to
mow some lawns this evening and when I cam in he was in his normal spot
perched on top of the 500 crate right by the front door. He perches there
so he can watch me go round and round on the mower. :-) So I guess that is
the last time I leave him out of the crate when I go outside.
TRiX and Scout: Both doing well. We went for a romp in the freshly mowed
grass this evening oh fresh grass the smell and the feel wet and soft. I
know they enjoyed that. Scout should be going home on Thursday to Torrey
and TJ.
Well All off for the night,
G
