From Riley
Hi All with permission this is being passed on: fro Brad Kim and Riley
(purple)
Hi Gina!
We're glad to hear that Rocky is feeling better, and things are winding
down for all of you!
I've just been reading all of the great stories about Riley's (Miss Purple)
brothers and sisters... it's so fun! :) We haven't checked in yet with
everybody... because we've been quite busy! Normally Brad does the computer
thing....( he's much better at it than I am) but I'll let you know what's
going on if you'd like to pass it along? :)
Riley, a.k.a. wonder dog, princess, munchie, pup pup, hot dog; poopie,
little licker ( and I wonder why she doesn't answer to her name???) is
doing wonderfully!
She has already been on a road trip to Grandma and Grandpas house up in
Sequim Washington and participated in a family reunion. No accidents the
whole way, or the whole time she was there! She did wake up great, great
aunt Polly at 2:30am once because she had to go potty... but other than
that she's always slept through the night! Grandma and Grandpa were quite
impressed with their new little "Grand Dog!" She loves everybody she meets
and of course, everyone loves her!
As far as the training thing goes, she's definitely a daddy's girl! She
does all kinds of things for Brad... but she pushes me. She's definitely
got a mind of her own and is a very curious little girl! I guess I'm a
softy though! Sigh. After 5 days she had her first little potty accident
(2ce!) and peed on the carpet. I wasn't watching her as closely as I should
have.... (maybe a little too confident?) But all the poops have been
outside! Like 4 times a day...(and we were worried about her not gaining
any weight! )Yay!
Riley loves ice cubes too! Tomorrow Brad is going to take her to work (Mt.
Hood) and she'll get to experience a really big ice cube, and maybe even
some snow! It'll be a big change from last weeks 90 degree weather here in
Hood River! She's quite the travel dog already, and likes to go places.
She loves to chew on everything, especially her bed and the rug on the
living room floor.(Yikes!) Her golf ball is her favorite pacifier, she
carries it and bats it around or nudges it back and forth... I'm sure we'll
be graduating to a tennis ball soon!
Sorry it took so long to check in... That's about it around here!
Take care! :)
Kim and Brad
