Yup - I know what you mean and here we often eat "dog
food".  :-)  If I serve chicken wings everyone asks,
"is this dog food?" Yup it is.  Also my family now thinks
that pork chops don't come with bones any more as I cut the meat away
from the bone and give the dogs the bones raw.  I use to buy
boneless chicken now I buy the bone in and bone it myself.  Cost
less and I get more bang for my buck so to speak.
