RE: Dollar Photo Update
I have
a response to my own email but I meant to ask this question of others but
forgot. Any advice on getting Milka to stop the biting and nipping?
It will take time but thought I'd ask the experts.....I say "no" and
then give her something she can chew but boy she did give me a nasty bite on my
arm earlier today.
Off to
figure out a new experience today. Our neighborhood is having a block party but
I'm so concerned about other dogs, etc. so not sure that is the best
thing.
She does love to swim in the water bowl in the kitchen so imgaine it
won't be too hard to get her used to the pool. Or at least she paws all the
water out of it :) The advice really helps a lot!!!!! THANK YOU,
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
The chicken story is GREAT!! Not for the chicken
though.....

Karin,
So you know, Milka is was the
first puppy in our puppy pool on her own and was the only one who would
repeatedly go in to cool her tootsies...
Don't
forget to dry puppy's ears out with Epi Otic or some other highly
recommended ear wash. You don't want them to get ear
infections. I don't know if Gina has other
recommendations?
My additional recommendation is
this: The above is very sound advise after swimming but before
swimming simply tilt head and drop a few drops of rubbing alcohol into
each ear. We do this with our dogs and have had very few ear
infections related to swimming over the years.
