Report Night Two--She made it 7 hours before whimpering as opposed to Night One
of 4 1/2 hours!!! She did throw up this morning but that's because she
keeps picking up acorns when she's outside for bathroom stuff. Two
squirrels had a fight near her this morning in the yard and then my husband set
off the smoke detector when he burnt toast so it's been an eventful
morning. She's now dozing in her crate :)

don't know what to suggest about the straining. I'll let the wiser ones
respond :)
