Re: Several replies in digest

Sorry Karin,
I know the feelings, it does not make any difference if is wild or domestic,
I'm ( on my own ) a care taker for wild "DUCKS".
There are part of the rod where is a duck-axing, and cars drive to fast and
don't give the poor things time or chance to cross the road safely..every
time I happen to come across with mama-duck and her cute family, I stop my
car turn emergency lights on, get out of the car and stop the coming
vehicles until the Ducks are safe to the other side of the road. Last week
one of the babies got killed by a motor home and I cried all day, so this
week I'm going to make more signs to stick on the side of the road, warning
drivers to slow down at those part of the road, also very common for black
bear to cross, and I love all of them.
I wish we were living closer, I would volunteer to help with your rescues.

Love,
Patti.
