Good thing he's in Hawaii and I can delete this and he doesn't know how to 
get to the archives! <smile>

We have an announcement:

Petty Officer First Class Engineer George Lewis Heitz Jr. has made the 
selection board for Chief Petty Officer.  This is equates to a Group One 
Placement at West Minster Dog Show.  Hang on for Best In Show Results soon.

I called George and told him he made it!!!  He wanted me to say Hi to you 
all and made me promise I would pass on his news!  I guess he's also 
working on two separate letters of Commendation as well, working hard and 
enjoying the weather... Oh this equates to a Judges Award of Merit at a 
National Specialty show.

For the normal folk out there:  George made the selection board for 
advancement to Chief Petty Officer and hopefully he will put on Chief [E-7] 
soon.
