I read my mail so "often". This is a bit late but I have to tell you the crate next to the bed thing worked like a charm with Ripley. I can actually get some sleep. I think 10 pm to 5 pm is do-able. Also we seem to be leaving her out of the crate way too much, thanks for the reminder, Gina.
