Miss Maple and Other Dogs

So, there are a couple of neighborhood dogs that really beat up on Maple.
One is a male 1 year old golden. The other is a female 1.5 year old yellow
lab. The lab especially growls and beats up on Maple, while with Torrey
there is no problem at all. Skylar will drag Maple by the neck along the
ground. Maple never cries, and gets right back up and gets in Skylar's
face again, although thats not a requirement for Skylar going after Maple.

I'm not especially worried about Maple getting hurt, since this little
dance has happened dozens of times, and Maple always survives.  However, it
*is* annoying. Its noisy and it scares the kids, and it requires us to keep
an eye on things when we would rather be chatting with the neighbors.

Any comments? Is there a way to squash this behaviour, or will it end on
its own when Missy is older? Should we be worried about Maple getting hurt?
