Reminiscing

Hi All,

In two days September 22, 2000 the first Brier litter turns 7 years
old! These puppies were born in San Diego and most of them still live
there. Our Brier's Just Peachie Keen CGC "Peaches" Meg's mom was from
that litter. She was the first Brier dog and the first to pass as
well... Peaches left us at age 4 ostosarcoma, same cancer Rocky has.

Reflecting back I can not say we do things much diffrent now than we did
then. We still keep in touch with most of the litter and am happy to
report that they are all well with no health concerns to note other than
one who is hypo thyroid. The Brier Owners Manual has grown, the original
instructions have been copy edited but the content is still the same. Our
contract only has minor changes, detailing the limited registration in
place of spay neuter certification requirements. We still invite our puppy
families to be part of the process of watching the litter grow. We have
added on-line stuff but that is just part in parcel with technology and
taking advantage of the tools.

Kaycee is the mom (of course) and as I look at her now and reflect back I
see the same dog! Kaycee is happy healthy and just plain wonderful! She
will be 11 on November 2. Nick the sire has passed on but his mother Casey
is 15+.

We have grown we have learned a lot but, plain and simple we just really
enjoy being small and having all of you as our family!

Reminiscing, thanks for indulging me. :-)
