Re: Torrey and Maple

Hi Renee,

We had a similar problem for a little while with
Bogey--who just had his first birthday.  Our other
dog is 10 and while she really likes to play with him
there was a time when he was just too much.  Too
loud and too rough.  He had lots of time outs for
being too rowdy or for barking.  We tried to take
him outside for some serious fetch play after he
calmed down.  By about eight months, he was much
better about not being a terror.  He really has been a very
mellow dog.  I think our problemwas that he had a
lot more energy than our older dog.  Sounds
like that could be an issue with Maple and Torrey,
too.  Give them both a hug for us.

to bugging Torrey.   Torrey and Maple generally play well together, but lately,

Torrey has not been as into it and seems to be kind of running away from her.
But, as Gina put it, Maple is a pushy one, plus she loves interacting with
Torrey.  We've been giving Torrey extra time with just us, but maybe Gina is
right, this is a passing phase and they will work it out.
