Good NEWS!
Hi everyone,
The one day that I didn't go to the show and guess what?! My parents said
Dawn won! Now from the sounds of their squawking, she did REALLY GOOD! I
can't wait until Ilene writes......I'm sure all of your chants helped! Up
until today, they only got as high as Reserves.
By the way, we had a terrible thunderstorm with torrential rains last night.
My front driveway is gravel and it's a MESS. I was so worried about them
tenting and the furry ones, too. Unbelievably, their tent held gallons upon
gallons of water and didn't collapse or blow away. They were suppose to
leave immediately after their showing today in order to get south of the
Mackinaw Bridge walk - Labor Day festival. It's an eight hour drive home
for them, so they won't get home until tomorrow morning.
Ilene - you must tell them about Rocket, The Goat, too. Gina, they ARE a
bunch of climbers!
Grooming question, Gina. I'll post it here since others might be wondering
too? I want to get a pair of thinners and shears, but I'm left-handed. I
know doing his feet will help through the winter with the snowballs, and
I'll probably do his ears after the pup-fluff is gone. Being that he's
looking like he'll have a heavy coat, there may be other areas, too.
Thinning a little bit under the ear flaps the other day has allowed more air
in his ears. Now I know you can really rack up some $$$ with this stuff.
I've been looking at NESerum's site and found left hand thinners by
Tisserand - 46 tooth. There are some left handed shears listed, too. I was
looking for a count in the high 30's to low 40's - 46 okay and is this brand
okay? Recommendations on shears for his feet?
Thanks!
Lyn
