upset tummies
Hi All,
My your all being quiet these days! Which is a good thing I guess... You
know no news is good news... I got a call from Abigail yesterday she had
an upset tummy (mushrooms) and this got me to thinking... Seams these
particular pup's are really munch mouths. Even TRiX. Yup she ate the
beach last Sunday and while it didn't upset her to the point that she was
down or feeling ill she did throw up an array of things on the way home (in
her crate). Spare you the contents beyond lots of sea weed and sand.
Besides bland diet when you get tummy upset giving some ginger root is a
good idea. You can get ginger root capsules at any health food
store. Ginger root is very spicy and "hot" to the taste so I don't
recommend sprinkling the powder on the food but rather hid a pill in a
treat and give it that way. Besides being good for food related tummy
upset it's also great for motion sickness.
I am giving GR to Rocky as well right now. I think that part of his
problem with not eating is his tummy is upset. I noticed yesterday after
giving him some he was hungry in about an hour. So put this on your list
of things to have on hand in your dog first aide kit.
Busy day today,
