There are four related IETF groups. OEPS is this Open and Extensible Proxy Services group, WREC (with possible follow-on group WEBI) is concerned with WEB infrastructure including Caching and Replication issues, and CNDP is the Content peering group that is defining an architecture for finding, delivering, and accounting for different types of web content. C15N will discuss context-based name resolution and may result in a protocol that could be utilized by both OEPS and CDNP.
