You should meet Hilarie.
She lives in Woodland Hills and worked at Novell in Provo, Utah and Volera in Orem, Utah; she started at Novell in March of 1999. She did a stint at DARPA in the Information Technology Office,
but as a confirmed westerner and techie, she headed back west after 3 years.
She once worked at the University of Arizona
Department of Computer Science (their logo is here).
Hilarie is a friend of network security, innovative Internet protocols, active networks, high performance operating systems, cryptography, emacs, and many other things. She is pleased to accept charity from the Flux group at University of Utah in the form of machine access for hosting the Cipher on-line calendar and this unorthodox home page.
She worked in an office in the Advanced Development Group at Novell. She was Chief Architect for Volera, a company formed from the Novell group. She lives in a house-with-a-view with her life companion Rich and two cats. Recently a family of three cats took up residence on the porch and have announced their intention to winter there.
