Re: [Testbed-admins] Fatal Trap 12 On Newnode MFS boot

[ You should hook up a serial console if you can, so you don't lose boot
  context! ]

The first line of the screenshot is:

  Booting [/boot/kernel/kernel]...

which is not what it should be saying when booting from the newnode MFS,
it should be:

  Booting [/boot/kernel]...

When it boots, do you actually see something like:

  ...
  pxe_open: using PXE DHCP info
  pxe_open: ipaddr: 155.98.36.221/255.255.252.0
  pxe_open: server addr: 155.98.32.70
  pxe_open: server path: /tftpboot
  pxe_open: gateway ip: 155.98.36.1
DHCP Info: IP: 155.98.36.221, Server: 155.98.32.70, Gateway: 155.98.36.1
Type a key for interactive mode (quick, quick!)
  Attempting boot of: 155.98.32.70:/tftpboot/freebsd.newnode
  ...

in particular, the last line about freebsd.newnode? You are sure that it
is not booting from the hard drive? How a TESTBED-PXEBOOT-GENERIC kernel
would get on your hard drive I could not explain! :-) Make sure the NIC
is before the hard drive in the boot order.

Anyway, this smacks of problems with the ACPI code. If you are sure that
it is booting from the network, make sure it is loading acpi.ko along with
the kernel.
