I think it is very much related to the machine type.  I believe the other
reports were on 1950s or 2950s.  How much physical memory do you have in
the machine?

It just so happens that we have a 1950, so I will try to reproduce the
problem.  But in case I can't, can we get access to you machine?  Do you
have a serial console and remote power control?
