Re: [Testbed-admins] Panic in HP workstation booting into newnode MFS

Sorry I missed the original message. We have seen this symptom before:
the kernel comes up thinking it has next-to-no memory:

	real memory = 651264 (0 MB)
	avail memory = 110592 (0 MB)

The Vanderbilt testbed hit this problem and I was in the middle of trying
to track it down when...it just stopped happening. And I couldn't make it
start happening again.

Here is one thing we tried there, but it didn't work. But lets see what
happens for you guys. In your /tftpboot/freebsd.newnode/boot/loader.conf.orig
file try setting:

	hw.hasbrokenint12=1

rerun ./setup and then try again. This is assuming that the node is booting
the "newnode" MFS. If it looks like it is booting /tftpboot/freebsd/...
then change the loader.conf.orig in that directory as well.
